Paint Correction (Cut and Polish)
3-8 Hours
Automotive paint correction is a meticulous process designed to eliminate imperfections, such as swirl marks, scratches, water spots, oxidation, and other defects that mar the appearance of your vehicle's paint.
Over time, exposure to the elements and improper washing (automatic car washes are a big culprit) can take a toll on your car's exterior, leaving it seeming dull and worn.
A machine polisher is used in conjunction with various compounds and pad combinations to permanently remove these blemishes, restoring clarity and shine.
At Woody’s Direct Detailing we offer two ‘levels’ of polishing depending on your needs and budget; Paint Correction or Paint Enhancement
Before
After
Paint Correction - is a meticulous, multi step process designed to correct a wide range of imperfections on your vehicle's paintwork. This service is ideal for cars with noticeable swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and other significant blemishes that diminish the overall appearance. We aim to remove upwards of 80% of all the imperfections in your cars paint.
Paint Enhancement - is a service tailored for vehicles with minor paint imperfections. Paint enhancement doesn't address deep scratches or heavy swirl marks like paint correction does - this service focuses on enhancing the gloss, shine, and overall appearance of the paint. It involves light polishing and refinement to make the existing paintwork look its best.
